Insurance — Out-of-Network Provider

The BTRC is an out-of-network provider and does not bill insurance directly. Payment is due at the time of service. However, many clients are able to receive partial reimbursement from their insurance company. We recommend contacting your insurance provider to learn about your out-of-network mental health benefits before your first appointment, as coverage varies by plan.

Questions to ask your insurance provider:

  1. Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits? Some plans cover a portion of out-of-network therapy costs.
  2. What is my out-of-network deductible? Ask how much you must pay before benefits apply.
  3. Does my plan offer any reimbursement? Every insurance company is different — your plan may offer partial reimbursement after your deductible is met.
  4. How do I submit a superbill? We provide superbills (itemized receipts) upon request for easy submission.
