Meet Aubrey Holden

Aubrey Holden is a compassionate and experienced therapist at the Bellevue Trauma Recovery Center (BTRC). She is a Licensed Professional Counselor–Mental Health Service Provider (LPC-MHSP) in Tennessee. Aubrey specializes in working with adolescents, young adults, and adults who are navigating the impacts of trauma, complex emotional experiences, and mental health challenges.

With a warm, person-centered approach, Aubrey creates a safe and supportive space for clients to explore their stories, deepen self-awareness, and move toward lasting healing. Her expertise includes helping individuals affected by sexual trauma, attachment trauma, betrayal trauma, and infidelity-related relational wounds, as well as those experiencing dissociation, depression, anxiety, and personality-related concerns.

Aubrey is also passionate about supporting LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent clients, helping them process painful relational experiences, rebuild trust, and strengthen their sense of identity and emotional safety. She empowers clients to reconnect with themselves, regulate their emotions, and cultivate authenticity and security in their relationships.

Using a trauma-informed, person-centered lens, Aubrey integrates evidence-based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy and Brainspotting to facilitate deep healing of unresolved experiences stored in the mind and body. Her therapeutic work emphasizes nervous system regulation, identity development, and collaborative healing tailored to each client’s unique goals and experiences.

Aubrey’s journey into psychotherapy was inspired by her background in the music industry in Nashville, Tennessee, and her own healing journey. These experiences inform her appreciation for authenticity, creativity, and self-expression in the therapeutic process.

Aubrey earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Belmont University and is currently pursuing a PhD in Advanced Clinical Practice (Psychotherapy) at Belmont University.

When she’s not working with clients, Aubrey enjoys attending concerts, discovering new music, reading fiction, exploring the Pacific Northwest, and spending time with friends and family.
